To Natasha, the bestest best friend i could ever have asked for....

well if i had been asked i would have read this poem for ya, i realise that we had our problems but we stuck together. i will always remember you and i will never ever forget the times we shared together.

Funeral Blues
Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message She is Dead.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

She was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that friendship would last forever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.
W.H. Auden

although I grieve for you now, I will see you one day and we will terroise everyone in heaven, bye....

k sorry sorry sorry.........

Okay so i haven't been the best blogger out there updating everyday and stuff but while i would normally use the excuse of life getting to hectic to think straight that would be a complete a lie. I have been so lazy that my weekend of work and packing and studying went straight outa my head. I landed up only getting to bed at 5am Sunday morning from working on my dvd stuff but as i slowly saw that that wasn't gonna work i left it and fell flip fop into bed. Last night was worse, i just couldn't sleep stressing about a test i thought i had on Monday morning. This also didn't happen so instead of improving my aggregate it stayed at 78%...yes i know this is better than my previous attempt at any and all university work just think it might have been 80 or even 85%...can u imagine my bonus from my rents.

Well i might be going to jhb in july where i hope to meet all the guys I've been chatting to on http://www.highveld.co.za
its a great chat site everyone is so friendly and amazingly enough puts up with all my quirks and stuff. Ive made some cool virtual friends. Speaking of which i have met one, dhiren, he also lives in durbs and has been helping me with my pc stuff.

Anyway life has been docile and no news on the cat, no idea where the money is going and no idea what the guys are doing about it. Some schools have refused our students for teaching practice especially the guys cause its a pretty dodge situation having a potential potential serial killer in the class ( i base this statement on research that found ppl who torture pets have a tendency to be either a repeat offender in the law situation or a serial killer agga shame....morons)

any way with HBC being canceled this year I'm kinda lost hence th mad jo'burg trip in the middle of winter. My dad doesn't think ill survive but i have enough warm clothes to go to the north pole with, k not quite but at least the UK. And all my 'kewl' stuff is for winter anyway. Seeing as cape town doesn't have an extremely warm summer like durbs does i tended to buy stuff that would keep me warm. I remember i had this stupid silver jacket that reached to the floor was called my trinity jacket given that it kept me warm it made me look like a walking snowman. dork face decided i had to buy it for some reason. Anyway its being put to some use (i hope)

anyway must go to bed now, I'm writing this at 12:16am and i have classes in the morrow.

Well guys look after yourselves as i said i have no idea weather i can update my blog while on teaching prac or not so ill keep y'all posted.

This is me.....

Kay so I was told this thing is a bit pointless and boring seeing as I repeat stuff in many different ways and just slap a new date on it and call it a new entry. But the reason for that is: that is how my life is at the moment...boring as hell with no real events happening. All that is happening is I am getting fat and lazy and repairing a broken soul more than a broken heart.

K so this is a new entry with a new idea...a new idea....mmm that a difficult one. I try not to hurt people’s feelings so if I do it is unintentional and I pray that you would be kind enough to let me know in a nice way and I will apologize.☺

Kay here it goes...
Some interesting things have been happening on campus...one of which is very disturbing (and turning out to be very expensive for the men) some moron decided to microwave a cat. That’s right...the news does not lie people. What happened was some poor unsuspecting person went to the kitchen day before yesterday to make himself breakfast and was very surprised to find a cooked cat in the microwave he was about to use. SPCA was called in and the news crews and stuff and now they are looking for the suspect. It is safe to say it is not a girl (and no not because girls like cute and furry things...Elmira does ...too death [Elmira is from tiny toons for those of you who don’t know...]) anyway so now in order to find the suspect each guy from pinewood residence has to pay R100 a day til the culprit is found... its now a case of they residence will find the person themselves for pure sake of wanting their money out of his hide. When this demented person is found he will be prosecuted....it remains to be seen by me if it is just a sick demented delinquent or if this delinquent was hungry or (and I doubt) that is was for sacrificial purposes...I'm not much of a journalist but ill let you know...

on another front...last night chiefs beat Super Sport United and the only reason I know this piece of advice is because when chiefs won we had a celebration right outside my res at 22:30 for once I didn’t mind actually that’s a lie...I was scared silly...all I saw (before I knew what was going on) was a bunch of guys running with their fog horns(which were being blown the whole day anyway) and gathering outside our res, first thought was a riot or toytoy session. The noise was terrific and all the girls were hanging out of windows from every floor to see what was going on. Expecting the worst as I generally do I double locked my door drew my curtains and settled down for the night and then my female side jumped out and my curiosity got the better of me and I went to go and investigate...it was because of the match...I decided to shut up as I normally am the one that throws her toys out the cot and screams bloody murder to the morons, but hey this time everyone was doing it for me and then as usual the cat jokes started “better shut up or we gonna put you in the microwave” admittedly this was pretty funny.

Well guys that’s it for my news for today. Just a note that when I'm gone on teaching prac (or even just gone home) this blog won’t be updated as I don’t have internet at home although this remains to be seen as my school just might have.

Peace out and keep it real (to quote the dork himself...)

Our Microwaved Kitty

News that a pet cat was cooked to death in a microwave oven in Durban has horrified and disgusted Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) officials, especially as the suspects are students studying to be teachers.

To compound matters, some students found the issue amusing when a meeting was held on Tuesday night to discuss the incident.

Kloof SPCA Inspector Roland Fivaz said that the incident took place on Sunday evening at the Pinewood residence of the Edgewood campus of the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN).

'This is the most horrific case I have ever dealt with'
The tortoiseshell cat, which belonged to a campus security guard, was found in the microwave oven at the residence on Tuesday morning.

“This is the most horrific case I have ever dealt with in my experience as an SPCA inspector,” Fivaz said.

A meeting with students of the Pinewood residence took place on Tuesday night to ascertain what happened.

Edgewood campus Students’ Representative Council spokesperson Nkosinathi Gwala and student housing representatives spoke to the students firmly about the seriousness of the incident and imposed a R100 fine on every resident until someone came forward with information.

However, while some students were angry, others found the situation funny and laughed out aloud.

“What kind of a human being can put a live cat in a microwave and then switch it on?” asked Gwala.

“We cannot tolerate this behaviour. Those responsible, whether it’s an individual or group, must be removed from the residence and face disciplinary action.

“We cannot stay in a residence where there is this sort of thing going on. After all, if people can impose this type of torture on an animal, they can do it to a human being as well,” he said.

Gwala said the incident was disheartening because the likely culprits were studying to be teachers.

Professor Evan Mantzaris, chairperson of the Combined Staff Association, said the incident was sad.

“These are the young people who, in a few years, will go on to educate and mould our country’s youth, teaching them the discipline of being humane and moral,” he said.

Christi Naudé, spokesperson for KwaZulu-Natal Education Minister Ina Cronje, said the department was horrified.

“If these allegations are in fact true, we are extremely shocked that some of our potential teachers could perform such a callous and inhumane act,” she said.

Trevor Wills, Executive Dean of UKZN, said he was aware of the incident and that an internal investigation into the “cruel and barbaric act” was continuing.

“At the moment, there is no confirmation as to who is responsible. If it turns out that the responsible party or parties are either our students or staff, we will take swift and severe action against them.

“This act is completely unacceptable,” he said.

Its happening again

k so i have that feeling again...and no its not gass...somethings about to happen...so this is the song that really gets what i mean (even if u dont)

Somethings Coming
Could be Who knows?
There's something due any day
I will know right away
Soon as it shows
It may come cannonballin' down through the sky
Gleam in its eye Bright as a rose!
Who knows?
It's only just out of reach
Down the block, on a beach
Under a tree
I got a feeling there's a miracle due
Gonna come true
Coming to me
Could it be?
Yes it could
Something's coming Something good
If I can wait
Something's coming I don't know what it is
But it is Gonna be great!
With a click With a shock
Phone'll jingle Door'll knock Open the latch!
Something's coming, don't know when
But it's soon Catch the moon
One handed catch
Around the corner Or whistling
down the river Come on - deliver To me
Will it be? Yes it will Maybe just by holding still
It'll be there!
Come on, something, come on in
Don't be shy Meet a guy
Pull up a chair
The air is hummin'
And something great is coming
Who knows It's only just Out of reach
Down the block, on a beach
Maybe tonight Maybe tonight...

And the next adventure shall be?....

Remember that Nissan ad?that whole thing about Life's a journey enjoy the ride?
How true is that statement? I once tried to write a matric paper on how life is similar to a road... well needless to say i tended to fail that... but seriously? Do we really just plod along treating each obstacle or problem as just another 'bump in the road”?

Moving back to dbn, a place i swore never to stay in ever again, was more than a little bump and the issue with Tristan was more than just a little pothole in my life id say it was a huge precipice one where i was more willing to face the angry lion (his life) than jump into the unknown.

K so many of you have gathered I'm not exactly over the moron just yet, but hey I'm getting there thats my next pit stop. If life as first argued is just a road then ct is the grand prix and dbn is the little plaas jappie dirt road.

Anyway yesterday wasn't all that interesting lectures finished at 11:10 and i cleaned my room for the rest of the time. Its sounds like nothing but its amazing how much mess a little room can acumulate.. all in one weekend when I'm not there.

Well ill write tomorrow...
Ciao
